Moulsford Management was established by Peter Wilson, an experienced private equity investor, to invest his own capital as a principal, and for larger opportunities to invest alongside select like-minded co-investors.  Its funding and relationships provide flexibility, a focus on long term value creation, and access to expertise and an extensive network. 

Prior to establishing Moulsford Management Peter spent over 20 years in private equity as a partner of Warburg Pincus and a founder director of Electra Partners Europe. From 2013 to 2016 he led the UK Government’s Investment Programme within BIS and was the inaugural CEO of British Business Bank Investments.  

Peter previously worked as a consultant at BCG, and at Orbis Investment Advisory ltd. 

During his career Peter has had board roles with numerous private companies including Freightliner, Merlin Communications, KTI Software/Dassault Systemes, Safety-Kleen Europe, Explora Petroleum, and two charities. 

Peter studied Engineering, Economics and Management at Oxford University as an Open Scholar and National Engineering Scholar, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where he graduated with high distinction as a Baker Scholar.
